The centre is to be used by CPUT as well as other educational institutions, stakeholders , companies and developers in the industry for research, training, conferences and functions. The focus is on solar and wind power generation research & training. The centre includes a full sized Nacel wind turbine, composite lab for blade repair, training tower & solar lab roof deck.
