GAPP offers a predictive, risk-based approach to managing large fixed asset portfolios for public and private sector clients. Using asset information software adapted from Australia’s IPWEA to meet South African standards, we enable lifecycle maintenance planning based on building component lifespans. The system considers condition, lifecycle, importance, and replacement cost to generate long-term maintenance plans. It also manages asset registers, leases, valuations, and ownership data. A user-friendly dashboard supports daily portfolio management and budgeting. Flexible and client-focused, our solution has been successfully applied to major portfolios, including over 8.5 million m² of government buildings in the Western Cape.
We support organizations with large fixed asset portfolios, including government bodies and private owners, through a comprehensive, risk-based predictive management approach. Using Asset Information Software (AIS) adapted from IPWEA to meet South African standards, we plan lifecycle maintenance based on asset lifespan and condition. Our configurable software aligns with each client’s specific goals and reporting needs. This powerful tool is currently being used to manage the full maintenance program for schools across the Western Cape, ensuring long-term asset sustainability and efficiency.
Heritage-conscious architecture preserves the cultural and historical value of significant buildings while adapting them for present and future use. We approach heritage buildings as ‘documents’, conserving their legacy through careful restoration guided by international best-practice principles. Our philosophy emphasizes compatibility—designing additions that respect original materials, scale, and character. Adaptive reuse ensures older buildings remain vital and sustainable, repurposed for modern needs without losing their identity. Our expert team combines deep knowledge of historical architecture with skilled application of heritage design to deliver authentic, functional, and enduring architectural solutions that honour the past and serve the future.
